Philip A Rigby
Over the years l have found that my photography has slowly evolved from the " if it's there, take it " type of photography, to something more considered - well at least l like to think l do.
Firstly l am an " available light " photographer, shunning anything to do with flash, and l suppose now find myself more involved in Street and Landscape photography - kind of at different ends of the spectrum.
My equipment is as follows :
Leica digital M8 Rangefinder camera
Lenses are : 15mm, 28mm, 35mm and 50mm, all prime lenses.
As a backup for those occasions where a Digital Rangefinder camera is of little use, l use :
Pentax K-5 with two standard kit zoom lenses.
My standard walkaround lens has to be the 28mm, which is now very rarely off the camera. Shooting at infinity and at f5.6 it produces pin sharp images throughout the whole range of the shot, and as a consequence means that you can subsequently crop to your hearts content without any loss of quality.
