Adderbury, Deddington & Dist Photographic Society
2011
OCT/NOV
Since our last news item, Summer has come and gone, members have come and gone, but the size of the club continues to grow, proving once again that there is room for a club that shuns the competitive edge of photography.
Our exhibition season is now at an end, and once again the exhibits displayed at Adderbury, Kings Sutton and Deddington have shown a year on year improvement in quality and the committee's thanks go to all those members who exhibited and assisted in the setting up and running of the exhibitions. With the onset of autumn, misty mornings beckon and we look forward in anticipation to members offerings at the photo topic section of our meetings.
Early October saw a catastrophic crash of the the cub's website. Recovery proved to be problematic, and we were forced into accepting a template design to at least get us back on line quickly. This template was not completely to our liking, and therefore the decision was made to switch to another template and a long process ensued whilst the text, graphics and images were amended and persuaded to fit the new template. Thereafter a great deal of time was spent customising the site and what we have today is the end result of that intense activity.
